Photos / Comments (see below) prove the shocking difference between store-bought and delivery flowers

You’ve probably heard of the hot new flower delivery trend. Until recently, flower subscriptions were a well-kept secret of top influencers (for keeping their homes stunning and styled without breaking the bank or wasting time). Some use flower subscriptions to make sure they have props for Instagram posts and brand collaboration photos, though it began as a service for busy families to have fresh flowers. Branding experts rave about flower subscriptions and their unique ability to easily elevate any space. According to marketers and influencer experts, one delivery per month is the key to making a “Pinterest-worthy home”.

“Cannot believe how long these flowers last - 2X better than grocery flowers plus a way better look!”

Jessica Williams - Enjoy Flowers Customer

Enjoy Flowers subscriptions are the new way to style any space according to social media specialists. Experts from ELLE DECOR, GLAMOUR, ABC and BuzzFeed are talking about the benefits of flower subscriptions.

With all the buzz about flower subscriptions being the go-to for influencers international and here in the states, I knew I needed to test the difference between store-bought flowers and subscription flowers… So, I started googling flower subscriptions to find which I’d order to use for my experiment. While there are a few flower subscriptions to choose from, there’s only one brand (Enjoy Flowers) who offers free shipping, a 7 day guarantee, unique blooms and exceptional customer reviews based on price and freshness. I was excited to order from a family owned company who puts quality first and ships directly from eco-friendly farms in Colombia.

Enjoy Flowers was the perfect subscription to compare with bouquets from my local grocery store!

Everything about Enjoy Flowers, from their farms being eco-friendly to them being a family owned business, seemed so perfect. Thinking the flowers would be fresher after traveling 4 days from Colombia made me a little skeptical so I couldn’t wait to see if this subscription was as great the reviews stated. Almost all of the awesome blogger and influencer reviews I read were regarding the Farm Fresh and Signature subscriptions, so I just had to pick which was better for me based on style and price. All the experts who’ve reported on these subscriptions share about the beauty of the blooms, the long lasting nature of the bouquets and how amazing it is to get their space Instagram-ready when fresh flowers arrive at their doorstep.

My first Enjoy Flowers subscription box arrived at the doorstep on Thursday.

The box was a beautiful pink color and it came with care instructions for the flowers plus flower food to add to the water. This was perfect, no guessing as to how to best take care of the flowers - it suggested cutting an inch off the bottom at an angle so the flowers could easily soak up the nourishing water.

How I set my experience up:
The day my Enjoy Flowers box arrived in the mail (around 9am), I went to my favorite grocery store and chose a beautiful bundle of flowers that were similar in size and style to the subscription delivery bouquet.

I cut the stems of both the subscription bouquet and the grocery bouquet, I added flower food to the water in two similar vases and I added the blooms, sitting the arrangements side by side in my kitchen.

Today, the grocery bouquet has a few dead flowers - subscription bouquet is healthy and colorful - even bigger and brighter than when they arrived, they are opening and showing off now!

Yesterday, it was time to throw the grocery bouquet away - the stems were getting gross and the petals had wilted and turned brown! Today, the subscription flowers are still STUNNING and I cannot believe it. They’re big and beautiful, they’ve gotten prettier day by day.

The Enjoy Flowers bouquet is still going strong! Fully bloomed and very fresh. I’ve changed the water again today and cut ½ inch off the stems so they can easily drink the fresh water up.

Today one type of flower in the subscription bouquet is starting to look a little tired, I’ve removed it and the arrangement still looks lovely. I can’t believe it’s been 5 days since I had to throw away the grocery bouquet, and the Enjoy Flowers flowers are still brightening my kitchen!

Another type of bloom is getting droopy today, but all of the smaller flowers and filler greens still looks amazing. I’ve removed the wilted flowers and now the bundle is a little smaller but it’s beautiful and looks like a freshly picked wildflower bouquet!

Experiment Conclusion:

I LOVED my subscription flowers and I still cannot believe how much longer they lasted vs. the grocery store bouquet!

If you’re skeptical about receiving fresh flowers in the mail from Enjoy Flowers, just try it out for yourself. You’ll be amazed. Plus you can get 30% off your first bouquet, how perfect is that?!

At the beginning, I had my doubts that flowers flying from Colombia would stay fresher longer than the pretty blooms I get at the grocery, but I’m a huge fan of subscription flowers now. After conducting my subscription vs. store-bought flower experiment, I can say without a doubt that you’ll get gorgeous flowers that last 2X longer with Enjoy Flowers subscriptions!

Note: To achieve incredible results like Jessica’s, be sure to care for your bouquets according to the simple care instructions that come with your Enjoy Flowers subscription.
