Why We Chose These Flowers and Colors for our Wedding Bouquets, Boutonnieres and Centerpieces

We’ve been working very hard over the past few months here at Enjoy Flowers in preparation for the launch of our new product line-floral wedding packages that are aimed to make decorating your wedding simple yet beautiful.

With our family having worked with flowers for over four decades and with us helping people enjoy flowers everyday with our flower subscription service, we thought: why not spread the joy of flowers to a very special moment in people’s lives–their wedding daySo, we worked diligently with our head designer, Hernando Salazar, to design the epitome of tasteful elegant wedding flower arrangements and bouquets that would seamlessly fit any wedding theme or color palette.

Our packages consist of bridal bouquets, bridesmaid bouquets, centerpieces, boutonnières, pin-on corsages, and loose stems. All you have to do is choose from one of our four collections and a package size, and voila! That part of your wedding planning is done.

With our launch rapidly approaching, we thought it would be nice to give you an inside look at the creative process that went behind design the collections. Here Hernando answers a few questions about the Enjoy Flowers Wedding line.

What inspired the Enjoy Flowers wedding collection design?

My main inspiration for the four Enjoy Flowers wedding collections comes from my passion for roses. This flower has been known throughout the years, as a symbol of delicateness and romanticism, which makes them perfect for such a special day.

We look for unique and bright color mixes, so each of our brides can get a little bit more of what they like and also, so the flowers easily match with the decoration style she chooses for her big day.

How did you choose the colors for the wedding flowers?

The pink tones in our Flame collection have been one of the most popular wedding colors for more than two years. The blue tones in our Seaside collection are perfect for brides who prefer fresh color. Our Dawn collection features yellow tones for couples who want to provide a “natural countryside” touch to their most important day. And our Purity collection is filled with white tones for our more traditional brides.

Why did you choose the flowers you chose for the selection?

Roses are delicate and evoque romance for important moments such as a wedding day. The hydrangeas, carnations and greenery, such as eucalyptus and dusty miller are included because they’re leading the trend in the world of floral arrangements.

What can brides-to-be do to make their big day super unique?

The first thing a bride-to-be should do is create a moodboard that includes all the ideas she has for her big day. Collect images of spaces, colors, objects, food, etc. that really put a smile on your face. But most importantly, think about things that are meaningful to you and your future spouse or reflect who you both are. Then work with an expert to help you incorporate those personal elements into the concept of your wedding.

Another tip is to try to manage everything with only one expert in order to avoid managing different concepts. This ensures that the entire wedding has the same inspirational thread.
